About the fair

As the market leader in education-related events in the Netherlands, OGZ organises Studiekeuzebeurs Midden (Education Fair Mid), which may be of interest to you. This is the biggest study related event in the middle of the Netherlands. At the previous edition we have welcomed 23,333 visitors and 124 enthusiastic exhibitors.

Studiekeuzebeurs Midden is a unique opportunity to present your organisation and to recruit ambitious youngsters from the Netherlands.

Why take part?

In addition to being an extremely fun experience, studying abroad is also a smart move for students. Research conducted by the European Commission has shown that young people who have studied abroad have a better chance of securing a steady job later on. Therefore the Dutch government would like more students to spend an educational period abroad. Currently, approximately 17% (117,353) of students in higher education spend part of their study programmes abroad. About 2.3% (15,877) of students even follow a complete study programme abroad.

Location & Travel

Studiekeuzebeurs Midden will be held on Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th of November 2024 in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht, which is located in Utrecht. This venue is very easily accessible by public transport (located near the central railway station Utrecht-Centraal) and is also easily accessible from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, Rotterdam The Hague Airport and Eindhoven Airport.

De BuitenlandBeurs (The Go-Abroad Fair)

In addition to Studiekeuzebeurs Midden OGZ organises at the same time and same location De BuitenlandBeurs (The Go-Abroad Fair), on Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th of November in Utrecht. De BuitenlandBeurs is the biggest platform in the Netherlands concerning study programmes, internships, (voluntary) work, high school years and language courses abroad. Leading organisations and relevant educational institutions inform visitors on all the aspects and possibilities of an educational and self-enriching stay abroad. As a market leader in education-related events, organiser OGZ provides the quality and the added value that both visitors and participants expect of a top event such as this.
